Hey Pete, the book is selling for $50 US and $60 Cdn (for those local who want to pick it up). For a book this size, it's a pretty good price! _________________ Your Toys...Our Tattoos

Shane, do you have any links to any of the publicity there has been for the book. I read somewhere it had been featured in a couple of tattoo magazines, it would be cool to be able to see those articles. _________________ Whose scruffy looking? |

I'll try to compile you a list of the ones i know about Pete. There have been several with at least two more coming up in the near future. I think i have them all but might have missed one or two. _________________ Your Toys...Our Tattoos

That sounds cool. I'm happy that the book has been received so well. I keep looking through my copy for inspiration. _________________ Whose scruffy looking? |

In no particular order, the magazines and what they covered:
Tattoos for Men #72 - cover mention, large article, interview with me
Tatu Arte #74 - full page review
Tattoo Magazine #222 - half page review
Tattoo Magazine #223 - Brian Rowland 4 page spread, book mentioned
Bizarre Magazine Feb 2008 - full page review/interview
The Picture (Aussie soft core porn mag) #989 - full page article
There are 3 more upcoming as well. _________________ Your Toys...Our Tattoos

It's cool there has been so much press. Do you have any scans of the articles?
How many books have you sold so far? _________________ Whose scruffy looking? |

My scanner went on the fritz so unfortunately i haven't been able to scan any of them yet.
I'm stoked about all the press for sure. There's a bit of TV coverage as well, from local media, to G4, the Space Network in Canada and one of the biggest TV shows in Japan did a segment on it. Again, sadly, i only have one of them on DVD.
I've sold about half of the run at this point, which is great when considering it's a totally DIY endeavour and that i haven't wholesaled to any major retailers, just to some smaller book distribs. _________________ Your Toys...Our Tattoos

It's so cool to see it doing so well. Considering what a niche market it deals with. _________________ Whose scruffy looking? |
