Ugh, title says it all.
I decided to stretch last week and popped in some silicon 7/16ths. All was well until Sunday when i got them bumped a bit and by Monday night they were swollen and pus-y beyond belief. So i took them out and the flares on the edge cut up the insides of my ears but good...so now they were pus-y and bloody. I left them out over night and went and saw a piercer friend the next day and the best we could get in were 2s.
Shitty.
With luck i'll be back up to 00s at the end of the month and then i'll just teflon tape stretch up to an eventual half inch. _________________ Your Toys...Our Tattoos

if I had known you were gonna do that, I could say I told ya so.
Silicone is bad idea for stretching! But now you found that out the hurtful way. Bad, Shane, Bad. _________________ Love the Jedi |

Yeah, i heard it from a few people. The thing is, i used it for my last two stretches, with no problems whatsoever so i just assumed it would be OK. Turns out the first stretches i did used a different type of silicon which explains a lot.
Stoopid silicon. _________________ Your Toys...Our Tattoos

I tried that once, I have 00 and I put in some half inch silicon plugs, they were fine until a few hours in and I just said the heck with it and took em out. _________________ In my flesh lies no good thing...... |

I have been debating taking mine out. I have had them for 10 years so I think I might miss em after awhile. _________________ In my flesh lies no good thing...... |
